Our client, Hopewell Development, has an opening for a full-time Project Coordinator in its Downtown Calgary office, reporting directly to the Director of Construction.
Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator supports and assists estimators and project managers, ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within budget. They will be responsible for creating realistic timelines, following up with team members to ensure everything is running smoothly, and tracking project progress in a variety of ways.
On your resume, we ask that you outline the following experience:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in commercial estimating and project coordination;
- Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, project management, estimating or other relevant disciplines;
- Experience with job task planning, decision making and problem solving;
- Proficiency with screen take off;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and MS Project Scheduling Software;
- Knowledge and familiarity with the local construction industry;
- Valid driver’s license;
- An acknowledgement that this position is required at our downtown office.
