About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a talented Field Marketing and Sales Coordinator who’s ready to dive into a versatile role blending on-the-ground activation, sales, retail marketing strategy, and collaboration. In this role, you’ll support marketing and sales campaigns, enhance brand presence, and foster customer engagement across multiple channels while working closely with the sales team to ensure alignment with marketing initiatives. This role will require extensive travel and brand activation at events and with retailers.

What You’ll Do:
Sales Support:
  • Conduct direct in market tours for the purpose of assessing and executing retail marketing programs as well as providing sales support and retailer education.
  • Support B2B communications, including email newsletters and asset distribution through Bynder.
  • Oversee and assist with retail marketing POS programs including contacting and coordinating directly with Buff retailers.
  • Oversee and manage product samples.
  • Assist with sales and marketing presentation prep.
  • Develop lead-generation activities to support the sales team.

Marketing:
  • Provide hands-on support for events, strategic partnerships, and tradeshows.
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies for BUFF®’s headwear and neckwear products, spotlighting our love for adventure.
  • Coordinate promotional events and partnerships with athletes, ambassadors, and brands.
  • Manage and coordinate set up for trade shows and events in outdoor industries like snow sports, running, and angling. Be prepared to provide sales support and product presentations.
  • Manage marketing materials such as catalogs, advertisements, and point-of-purchase assets including arranging printing of the materials and their distribution.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and compile regular reports to ensure continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or sales in the outdoor products or retail industry.
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Mural, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, Bynder, and Asana.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media management platforms.
  • Examples of your willingness to take initiative and step up without hesitancy and to operate independently.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and knowledge of the outdoor retail vertical.
  • Examples of your ability to juggle multiple projects, be resilient under pressure, and handle challenging personalities or situations.
  • Comfortability engaging with diverse groups while promoting and being the face of the brand. Must be able to communicate with both a marketing and sales mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and Canada sometimes independently for events and support up to 60 days a year, with occasional opportunities to visit our global headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. Must have valid passport and driver’s licence.
  • Physical capability to handle outdoor event setups, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
