Hopewell Real Estate Services is seeking a Senior Property Administrator to join a collaborative property management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to commercial and industrial real estate.
About the Role
The Senior Property Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Property Management team, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of property management initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills while balancing multiple priorities. This full-time role will be based out of Edmonton, Alberta and will report directly to the Property Manager.
As a Senior Property Administrator, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support for property management initiatives, building set-ups, and project coordination.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, leasing teams, accounting, marketing, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage lease administration documentation.
- Monitor accounts receivable, complete account reconciliations, and process chargeback billings.
- Maintain tenant inquiry databases and coordinate communications on day-to-day property matters.
- Research, compile, and analyze data to prepare reports, presentations, and documents.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including recording and distributing meeting minutes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and property files.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
On your resume, we ask that you demonstrate the following experience:
- 7–10 years of property administration experience (commercial real estate experience preferred).
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Yardi (P2P module strongly preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
